Nocturnal explores the visual evolution of light within a city from sunset to sunrise. The shifting glow of headlights in traffic, streetlights reflecting in rain puddles to neon signs evolving from the rush hour bustle to late-night club vibes. Inspired by this progression, we crafted visuals set to a soundtrack of 90s underground electronic dance tracks, with different genres reflecting the changing energy throughout the night.

Visuals are projected as a triptych across three panels, accompanied by stage lighting all edited and programmed in sync with the soundtrack. The entire experience runs for 10 minutes, immersing viewers in a rhythmic journey through the city's nocturnal life.

Nocturnal debuted at City Lights 2024 at Quartyard, where attendees could grab a pair of headphones, sit back and take it all in, or hit the floor and dance to the beat.
